Monthly Favourites | October

Another monthly favourite post, I never got a chance to do my September Favourites due to all the problems I was having with my camera, but I think I've figured out a way to transfer my photos from my camera to my computer. Anyway, there aren't many favourites of mine this month as most of my favourites I have mentioned time and time before.

What's in my School Bag?

I must apologise as I did promise this to you all a while back, but I had problems with my school bag that it was on the verge of breaking after just a month so had to take it back and get a full refund, so have been using my typical handbag for school since but the other week my new school bag arrived from Zara, which many of you will have seen or heard about before; but you'll just have to read on to find out more!

October's Beauty Tip

I know it's been a while since I have written a post, but I have had some problems with my camera and the lead to connect it to my computer...I am trying to fix it though! I had to use my sisters camera when she wasn't looking...cheeky I know. Well, I am trying to find other ways to get some photos up, so please be patient!

This month's Beauty Tip is one which will probably quite useful for a lot of lovers of beauty like myself.

Many of you will know if you follow me on my twitter for my blog, that I have been having problems with my camera over the past couple of weeks meaning I haven't been able to get any decent posts up for all you lovely readers! But I have recently got Instagram as well as my personal twitter and my blog twitter, so if you still want to hear/see some random things from me please do go and check them out as I still do not know when I will be back to blogging regularly!

Top Thursday Reads! #1

I thought today I'd try something different, a bit of a more weekly post. I thought this way at least I know I'll have at least one post out there for you lovely followers to read. I have decided to write a weekly book review or my opinions on a book I have read (for obvious reasons not in that past week, I could but I just don't have the time anymore!). So I would love your feedback about this idea.

New Blog Designs & Update!

A short and sweet post from me this evening....

She Said Beauty | Skincare September

I recently decided to do a monthly subscription to a beauty box, of course the decision was then what one?
In the UK there is a wide range to choose from such as Glossybox, Joliebox etc. But after reading a lot of reviews and did some research I chose to go with She Said Beauty.

If you don't know already She Said Beauty is a beauty box subscription where you get 5 samples of different products usually luxury products or expensive products usually based on a theme. She Said Beauty costs £9.00 a month plus p+p.

Beauty | A Few Beauty Buys

As you can probably tell from the title of this post I went out for a little shopping the other day and treated myself to some new beauty products. I only got three things so it isn't too exciting but just thought I'd share my recent beauty purchases.

I first went to Superdrug and after having a load of samples of the Garnier, Estee Lauder and Maybelline BB Creams I decided I needed to own one so got the one I preferred out of the 3. So as you can probably tell I bought the Maybelline one. It actually only cost me £5 as they had an offer that if you bought any 2 Maybelline you only paid £10 so me and my sister both picked a product and split it. So a bargain...especially if you were stocking up.

Hello Autumn: Coffee Talk Tag

Today I thought I'd something a little different, after seeing this particular tag crop up on my Blogger Dashboard a lot I thought it was time I joined in.

Beauty | Bargain Nail Polishes

Recently Fragrance Direct has been taking the blogging world by storm for the amazing prices they have been offering for their Essie nail polishes and I couldn't help but go for a little nosey on the site. Of course doing this I was tempted with buying a few products.

Being me I didn't actually order an Essie nail polish, well for myself anyway, they didn't have the colour I wanted in stock (Chubby Cheeks) but I did order one for my sister (Sugar Daddy) and the Essie Ridge Filler Base Coat. But I did pick up another two nail polishes for myself.

Back To School | What's in my Pencil Case?

Today I thought I'd do a bit of different version of the usual "what's in my school/hand bag?" post and thought I'd show you what's in my pencil case...don't worry there will be a what's in my school bag post next week after I have been at sixth form for a while.

Pencil Case | WHSmith Page Markers | Pencil Sharpener | Mini Scissors | Rubber | Tipp-Ex Pocket Mouse | 9 Staedtler  Coloured Biros | 2 Staedtler Highlighters | 4 x BIC Black Biros | 15cm Ruler | 4 x Staedtler HB Pencils

Monthly Favourites | August

It's that time again for my monthly favourites, they are a bit later then usual but I am struggling to find time to write blog posts now that I am back at school and work at the weekends. Also there isn't that many as I have just had my usual favourites for the past month and haven't really found anything that new.

September's Beauty Tip

This months beauty tip is one which should be known by all who love nail polish and who are really impatient when you spend forever painting your nails then you do something and smudge it then have to start all over again. It's just a chore! So this beauty tip should be helpful to all those fellow impatient nail painters

This months beauty tip is:

Dipping Wet Nails Into Cold Water

Now, you might be thinking she must be mad...and I thought this was mad to begin with that was until I tried it. It's something I didn't originally think would work, but it does! I was going to fork out nearly £5 to get one of those quick fix instant nail drying sprays I'm so glad I didn't though. Seriously all you do is paint your nails like normal get a bowl of water or sink full of water whatever suits you and just dip away, then apply top coat and repeat if you want.

Hope this has helped anyone who is as impatient as me, would love to hear what you think of this if you have tried it out before.

Have you used this beauty tip before?

Back To School | First Day...

Source: WeHeartIt.com

I just thought I'd write a little post telling you all how my first day of Sixth Form went and being an official Year 12.

Back to School | School Supplies Haul

I thought it was time to do my School Supplies haul. However, I didn't buy that much simply because since doing GCSE I had a lot of things already so I will probably do an overall school supplies post explaining what I already have and all that jazz.

I did buy all of this with my own money, which I did earn as I do have a job, so please no hate.

Me and my friend a couple of weeks ago went stationery shopping as we both love stationery and could spend hours in a stationery shop. We did once when we went looking for books though. I do probably think I got a bit too much stuff, but never mind I can find a use for it somewhere else.

Enough ramblings from me...

Fashion | Top 10 Fashion Money Saving Websites

I was recently informed of the results of a number of fashion bloggers Top 10 Fashion Money Saving Websites. Seeing as I am one of those people who are always looking for good offers and good value fashion clothing for less so thought it would be an interesting post to share with my readers.

Review | OPI Nail Envy

This product seemed to be taking a storm a couple of months ago in the beauty blogging community, but now it's like it's disappeared under the radar. I thought it must be time for me to have my say on it.

Back To School | My Choices

I thought today I'd do a post about my choices as to what I've chosen to do next (academic) year and the options that were also available to me. I'm hoping this will help people who are going in to year 11 into there choices for the following year or anyone who wants to revisit further education. Also to anyone who doesn't live in the UK I hope this gives you an insight into how our education is.

So, as many of you know I left school this year as I was in year 11, which also means that I finished all of my GCSEs at the end of June. After doing my GCSEs I had a lot of different options to do which I can't say for people younger then me will have. The Law for me says I have to stay in further education until I'm 16 but anyone born after September 1997 have to stay in full time education until they are 18.

Back To School | GCSE Results Day!

As many of you would know yesterday (23rd July) was the GCSE results day for millions across the UK. Seeing as the news always takes advantage of showing peoples results and how GCSEs are getting "too easy" for us students (which I can say is so not true!). Anyway seeing as a few people have done these posts/videos I thought I would join in and post it alongside my Back To School posts.

What GCSEs did I take?

Back To School

Seeing as results day is right around the corner (23rd August for GCSE) and as I start sixth form (year 12) in September I thought I would do a set of "Back-to-School" posts. They would probably include how I am preparing myself for sixth form (further education) and what I plan to do.

Source: WeHeartIt.com
I thought this would be useful for a variety of people especially seeing as it's that time of year again and people are going to be getting ready to go back to school,

August's Beauty Tip

This month's beauty tip is a bit of a two in one and I have used both in the past and one quite recently myself.

This month's beauty tip is...

1 Mixing your Foundation and Moisturiser to Make A Tinted Moisturiser
Now I bet a lot of you have done this before especially if you have drier skin but obviously it doesn't and won't work for everybody. It differs from foundation to moisturiser used. I wouldn't recommend using a moisturiser with harsh chemicals or ingredients as the one I use is Simple. It works with all foundations and is perfect for the warmer weather.

2 Mixing A Foundation That's Too Dark For Your Skin and Moisturiser to Make A Thick Tinted Moisturiser For Your Shade
You are probably thinking how does this work, it's the same as the 1st Beauty Tip. It actually isn't it's all about the foundation to moisturiser ratio (look at me sounding all smart!). I personally think this works a lot better with thicker foundations but it does work with liquid foundations too. Also this beauty tip will come in its own throughout the winter when the tan begins to fade.

Have you used either of these beauty tips before?

Holiday | What's in my Hand Luggage?

Another Holiday Series post from me and whilst you're reading this I'll be sunbathing by a pool.
Jealous much?
Bag from New Look - they no longer sell it.

Anyway, these are all basic things that I'd expect the majority of people to have in their hand luggae or their equivalent.

Holiday | What's in my Travel Make Up Bag?

As many of you will know I am off to Sunny Spain tomorrow (Saturday 4th August) for a week and promised some holiday posts. Hopefully I will be scheduling them for next week for you lot to read.

So today I'd thought I'd do the one the majority of you will be wanting to read; the make-up I'm taking.

Monthly Favourites | June and July

As you can probably tell I didn't do my June Favourites so this a combination of my June and July favourites and they were pretty much exactly the same, so you didn't miss out on much.

Summer | Body Care Essentials

Thought it was time to do another Summer Series posts, if you would like to read all the other Summer Series posts click here

Empties #2

Another empties post from me, and I've been collecting this for a while now...glad to be able to get rid of all the packaging and start saving all my empties for the next empties post!

Post Ideas!

I don't know if I have mentioned this yet but on the 4th August  I am going away abroad to sunny Spain for a week. So, seeing as I have recently been doing my Summer Series posts I was wondering if you would all be interested in a Holiday Series which would include posts like: What's In My Hand Luggage, What's In My Make-Up Bag and What's In My Skincare/Wash Bag.

If you would be interested please comment below as it would give me some feedback and would be very helpful. Also if you could comment saying what over posts you want to see from me.

Also, if you haven't noticed already I have recently updated my blog and redesigned the colour scheme a bit, hope you all like it...this feels more me!

Are you going on holiday this year?

Mother Daughter Day

(Source: WeHeartIt.com)

Today I'd thought I would do a Lifestyle post on my day.

As you can probably tell by the title, my mum and I went had a bit of Mother Daughter quality time

July's Beauty Tip!

This month's beauty tip is one which I have recently used this myself and it isn't one everyone will use but it's a useful tip nonetheless.

This month's beauty tip...

Long Time No See...

Well I haven't written a blog post in ages! I really must apologise for that...

Where do I start?

Last week

I had my Sixth Form Induction Day on Monday and Tuesday (2nd and 3rd of July) so I was pooped by the end of those days and have now decided what I want to do after Sixth Form and all the subjects I want to do

BuyaPowa: Soap & Glory Duo

As you can tell from the title of this post you can see I bought something from BuyaPowa. If you don't already know what BuyaPowa it is a co-buying website and they do some great deals, I would say they specifically do health and beauty co-buys. If you want more information click here.

I am one of these people who constantly get email reminders from BuyaPowa saying about new products going onto co-buys, so last week when I got an email saying these two products were going to be a co-buy I just couldn't resist! These two Soap & Glory products I have been dying to buy and try out but just thought they were out of my price range at the time.

Review: Kleenex Facial Cleansing Wipes

Sorry about the delay about this post I was going to write it last month but life just got in the way. If you don't know already Kleenex released a range called Facial Cleansing which includes four products. These are all available in supermarkets and Superdrug, as far as I know. I only bought two of their products as these are the ones that interested me the most and thought I would get the best use out of. I reviewed the Eye Make-Up Removal Wipes a while back, which you can read, here.

Well, today as you can tell by the title I am reviewing the Kleenex Facial Cleansing Wipes Extra Gentle
What Kleenex says:
" Quilted to effectively remove make-up. Suitable for sensitive skin."

Summer: Make-Up Wishlist

Another Summer blog post, today I thought I would do all the make up I have been lusting after and will hopefully be buying soon probably with my first pay check!

Empties #1

Well, thought it was about time I got on the bandwagon and started blogging about my empties. I have been collecting them over the past few weeks and it's actually a good idea especially if you have a specific type of product which you need to use up like for me it's Shampoo, Conditioner and wipes I seem to have a large stock of all these which I have accumulated during this year.

Beauty and Fashion Haul! *Picture Heavy*

I haven't done one of these in a while! I went shopping yesterday (5th June) in Milton Keynes and spent most of my pennies since I still had some left over from my birthday. I mainly bought clothes but did get some beauty products as well.

I am going to take all the clothes pictures offline as it is easier to do that then try and take pictures of it all...my laziness is showing through here!

H&M
Recently I have been loving H&M, they have good quality clothes for cheap prices...who wouldn't love that!

May Favourites

Well it's time for monthly favourite posts to make an appearance again. As everyone always says "Last month went so quickly" but for me I am so glad we have seen the back of May. You are probably wondering why, well I had 11 exams in May and only one left this month. Let's just say it's been a stressful May but the beautiful weather England had for like a week did make up for it.

Anyway, enough rambling....

Summer: Skincare

Hi, longtime no blog I know, it's just that exam season has taken over once again but I only have five exams left, so expect a lot more posts from especially as I go on study leave at the end of the week. eek!

The weather in England this past week has been just beautiful and I have even gotten my shorts out!The weather has put me in a really Summer mood, if ya know what I mean. So, seeing as Summer seems to be upon us I thought I would do a Summer Series of blog posts sharing my summer routines and also handing out some good tips out along the way.

Today I am going to start off my Summer Series with my Summer Skincare products and routine. Now this routine is really basic and uses hardly anything on my skin, which makes it the perfect light and hydrating routine for summer.

May's Beauty Tip!

Hey Guys,
It's that time again for another of my Monthly Beauty Tips. This month I think it is a really handy tip to know.

April Favourites!

Well it's that time again for the monthly favourites to make an appearance. This month I have quite a few favourites and I just couldn't seem to narrow it down! Here's my favourites:

Haircare

Review: Kleenex Eye Make-Up Remover Wipes

If you don't know already Kleenex have recently released a new range called Kleenex Facial Cleansing which currently includes four products. These four products are available in supermarkets and I know that they are currently on an introductory offer in Tesco until I think it's the end of the week? Don't hold me on that though. I haven't and won't be buying all four products because they aren't something that would interest me, but I have however bought the products which I think I could use on a daily basis.

So, today I am reviewing the Kleenex Eye Make-Up Remover Wipes.
What Kleenex says:
"Gently and effectively removes eye make-up including waterproof mascara."

April's Beauty Tip!

Hey Guys,
Today's beauty tip is for anyone who like me suffers from the odd blemish or spot. Now I hope everyone would have this in their household, I would be personally worried if they didn't!

Friday 13th!

Hey guys,

Pointing out the obvious here but today is:

Taken from Google Images

16th Birthday!

Last week on the 4th April was my 16th Birthday (woo!) and I was planning on putting a post up of my birthday in pictures but time has just gotten away from me this past week. So to make up for it the first part of this blog post is going to be a random collage of pictures from my birthday and the second part is a few of my birthday presents, so sorry in advance for the long winded and picture heavy post!

I had a great birthday and got loads of lovely presents which I am really grateful for! The night before I went out to a meal with my family and a friend and then on my actual birthday had a really lazy pyjama day, ate loads of cake and did nothing what so ever, in other words the perfect birthday!

March Favourites

I bet you are all bored of hearing the same old " I can't believe how quickly this month has gone" malarky, but it actually has! To think that it's already April and that on Wednesday is my 16th Birthday is just scary!

Well, this month I thought I had quite a lot of favourites but it doesn't look like much. There are some I haven't included because it is still my favourite such as my Urban Decay Naked Palette, but these are all new favourites that I don't think I have mentioned yet.

NOTD: Barry M Shocking Pink

Seeing as this weekend it has been so nice and sunny it made me feel like Summer is just right around the corner! I also felt very girly and wanted to do my nails hence the pink nails.

Review: Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara Waterproof

I have owned this mascara for a while and have previously bought the original and repurchased it so thought it was time to do a review on my go-to mascara.
